Syndrome Problems in Evaluation of Chinese Medicine Efficacy for Chronic Gastrointestinal Diseases
This paper summarizes and analyzes the syndrome problems in Chinese medicine efficacy evaluation for chronic gastrointestinal diseases. The authors consider that
at present
symptom score is the main method in efficacy evaluation for chronic gastrointestinal diseases. There are problems in the quantization of Chinese medicine syndrome standardization and dynamic state. An efficacy evaluation index system of syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic gastrointestinal diseases
which reflects patients’ demand
should be established.Based on the theory of disease combined with symptom
with both qualitative and quantitative methods
Chinese medicine chronic gastrointestinal disease patient-reported outcomes scale should be established.Syndrome score should be standardized to evaluate the efficacy of syndrome differentiation and treatment objectively.
