Objective To observe clinical curative effects of tonifying qi

restoring Yang

astringing for desertion and dispelling fluid methods adjuvantly treating acute exacerbation of chronic cardiac failure with cardiogenic shock.Methods Selected 60 cases of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic cardiac failure with cardiogenic shock.Randomly divided them into the treatment group and the control group with 30 cases each.The control group was given regular western medicine treatment.The treatment group was given Chinese medicine decoction of tonifying qirestoring Yang and solid doff-hydragogue in addition to treatment of the control group.One dose a day.Two groups were both treated for 48 h.Compared heart rate

blood pressure and urine volume of two groups before and after treatment.Evaluated clinical curative effects after treatment.Results The total effective rate and cured rates of the treatment group were respectively 93.3% and 70.0%

while those of the control group were respectively 73.3% and23.3%.The difference of total effective rates between two groups had no statistical significance（P > 0.05）.Cured rates of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group（P < 0.05）.Systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of two groups 30 min
