Relation Between Syndrome of Dampness-heat in Middle-Jiao and Gastrointestinal Tract Micro Ecology
The syndrome of dampness-heat in middle-Jiao is an important syndrome in syndrome differentiation of Triple-Jiao( 三焦) theory of warm disease
which occupies an important position in the digestive system diseases.Clinical symptoms of digestive tract due to imbalance of gastrointestinal tract micro ecology are similar to Chinese medicine syndrome manifestations of syndrome of dampness-heat in middle-Jiao. Modern researches show that imbalance and translocation of gastrointestinal flora may be the foundation of the syndrome of dampness-heat in middle-Jiao.Herbs of clearing away heat-evil and promoting diuresis are effective on preventing and treating the syndrome of dampness-heat in middle-Jiao clinically. The mechanism might be balancing gastrointestinal tract micro ecology by overall control mode of multi-targets and multi-ways. The authors infer that the syndrome essence of dampness-heat in middleJiao is the significant manifestation of gastrointestinal tract micro ecology imbalance. The two might have common micro material foundation.
