Effect of Danqi Ququ Zhitong Particles (丹芪祛瘀止痛颗粒) on Expressions of TRAF1,4-1BB and Bcl-xL in Gastric Mucosa of Patients with Gastric Precancerous Lesions of Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis Type
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and potential mechanism of Danqi Ququ Zhitong Particles( 丹芪祛瘀止痛颗粒
DQZP) in treating patients with gastric precancerous lesions of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type. Methods Sixty-eight patients with precancerous lesion of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type were randomized into a treatment group and a control group
with 34 cases in each group. The treatment group was given DQZP
with10 g each time and 3 times a day
while the control group was administered Vitacoenzyme Tablets with 0. 8 g each time and 3 times a day. Both groups were treated for 3 months. The clinical efficacy was evaluated after treatment
and the Chinese medicine symptoms and the pathology of gastric mucosa were scored before and after treatment. The expressions of tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 1( TRAF1)
lymphocyte activation induced receptor( 4-1BB)and B-cell lymphoma-extra large( Bcl-xL) were also detected. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 85. 29%
significantly higher than 58. 82% of the control group( P < 0. 05). For both groups
the Chinese symptoms score and the pathology score of the gastric mucosa significantly decreased after treatment
and those of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01). After treatment
the expressions of TRAF1
4-1BB
Bcl-xL in the treatment group declined significantly
while in the control group
only TRAF1 expression declined significantly
and the TRAF1
4-1BB
Bcl-xL expressions of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group( P < 0. 05 or P < 0. 01). Conclusion DQZP could improve the pathology condition of the gastric mucosa in patients with precancerous lesions of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type
and the mechanism seems related to down-regulate the expressions of TRAF1
