Building a Hypothesis of Fire-toxin Cause of Ischemic Stroke
the unique thinking methods of analogy and classification of Yin-yang and five elements are used throughout the cause understanding of ischemic stroke. Based on this idea
water image in the natural world and human Qi-blood movement are made an analogy. The authors hold that Qi and blood should move perpetually. Local stagnant and jamming may lead to putrefaction and turbidity which stagnate and transform into heat or fire or toxin and damage the body. Studying from the analogy thinking of "human corresponds with water image"
the authors construct a hypothesis of fire-toxin cause of ischemic stroke
and prove the hypothesis through analyzing clinical trials and animal experiments in which bitter-cold removing toxicity method and salt-coldbitter-sweet method with the effect of clearing heat and detoxication were used to treat cerebral arterial thrombosis.
