Literature Research on Diagnosis-treatment Rule for Stroke of Danxi School
Objective To explore the academic thought and diagnosis-treatment rule of Danxi School in treating stroke. Methods Taking Chinese Medical Classics( 中华医典) as the source of literature
medical records of internal prescriptions in treating stroke in works by Zhu Danxi
his disciples of by direct line and disciples who had not taken lessons directly were included. Chinese medicine symptom and prescription-herb information provision database was established. The frequency of Chinese medicine symptoms
herbs and herb types was calculated. Association rule analysis was made on herb-herb and symptom-herb. Results Totally
11 works by 7 physicians were included
with 101 valid records. Fifty-seven Chinese medicine symptoms were included
with the total frequency 363. Top 3 symptoms with high frequency were hemiplegia( 40)
Tongue obliquity( 35) and sputum( 29). One hundred and seventy-one herbs were included
with the total using herb frequency 1235. Top 3 herbs with high use frequency were Gancao [Radix Glycyrrhizae
甘草]( 66)
Danggui [Radix Angelicae Sinensis
当归]( 49) and Fuling [Poria
茯苓]( 46). Herbs used were 22 types. Top 3 types with high use frequency were relieving superficies herbs( 231)
invigorating Qi herbs( 188) and clearing heat herbs( 127). Results of association rule analysis showed that Baishao[Radix Paeoniae Alba 白芍]-Danggui
Baishao-Gancao and Chenpi [Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae 陈皮]-Gancao were frequently-used herb pair. Gloomy mood-Baizhu [Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae
白术]
fever-Fuling and obesity-Chenpi were common symptom-herb relations. Conclusion Qi-blood deficiency and phlegm-heat stagnation is the basic understanding of stroke in Danxi School. Qi deficiency and phlegm-heat take important parts. In clinic
spleen-stomach is the basis in treatment. Meanwhile
