Analysis of Prescription Matching Rate of Antibiotics in Department of Respiratory Medicine of Chinese Medicine Hospitals and Western Medicine Hospitals
Objective To analyze the differences in the use of antibiotics in the respiratory departments of Chinese medicine hospitals and western medicine hospitals. Methods Five databases at home and abroad were searched to find out all the literatures published from the establishment of database to March 2017 on the use of antibiotics in respiratory medicines. By matching the levels
regions
locations
and rectification time of Chinese medicine hospitals and western medicine hospitals
we explored the rate of antibiotic prescriptions in respiratory departments of different types of hospitals. Results A total of 256 articles( 96 955 cases) were included in the study
including236 articles of western medicine hospitals( 221 hospitals
92 982 cases) and 20 articles of Chinese medicine hospitals( 19 hospitals
4063 cases). The rate of antibiotics in respiratory wards was respectively 90%
59%
and 31%before
during
and after remediation in tertiary Chinese medicine hospitals in the eastern region
which was lower than 92%
87% and 74% in western medicine hospitals. The rate of antibiotics in secondary Chinese medicine hospital was 70% and 62% during and after remediation
which was lower than 73% and 73% in western medicine hospitals. The rate of antibiotics in the tertiary hospitals in the central region during remediation was 92%
which was lower than 94% in western medicine hospitals. The antibiotics rate in the secondary hospitals in the northeastern region during remediation was 81%
which was lower than 85% in western medicine hospital. The rate of antibiotics in tertiary hospitals in the western region was 95% and 92% before and during remediation
which was higher than 92%and 85% of western medicine hospitals. The antibiotics rate in the respiratory outpatient department of tertiary hospitals in eastern region was 49% and 55% before and during remediation
and 67% and 48% of western medicine hospitals. The rate was 86% and 80% in Chinese medicine hospitals in central regions before and after remediation
and74% and 88% of western medicine hospitals. Conclusion The rate of antibiotics of the respiratory departments of the Chinese medicine Hospital in the eastern
central and northeast regions was lower than that of the western medicine hospitals
while in the western regions
the rate of antibiotics in the wards of the tertiary Chinese medicine Hospitals was higher than that of western medicine hospitals. There was no obvious regularity in outpatient prescription rates.
