Standardization of Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine-Preliminary Study on the Inheritance Mode of Cervical Rotation-traction Manipulation
Objective To screen the inheritance model of cervical rotation-traction manipulation of traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics and traumatology through the comparison of effects of different inheritance models. Methods Twenty-seven techniques were randomly divided into three groups: video teaching
teacher training and instrument training. Each group of inheritors were received accepted instrument and expert assessment after two weeks of the standardized operation of cervical rotation-traction manipulation studying by the corresponding inheritance model.Instrument assessment indicators included the qualified number and rate of pre-traction force
the pull force
the maximum force
the drawing time
the rotation amplitude
the pitch amplitude
and the expert assessment indicators included the qualified number and rate of cervical spine positioning
cervical fixation
pre-traction
the pull force
the pull direction and the pull skills. Results In instrument assessment
the average qualified rate of instrument training group
video teaching group and teacher training group was 82. 22%
67. 84%
69. 91% respectively; In the expert assessment
the average qualified rate of instrument training group
video teaching group and teacher training group was 91. 11%
66. 96% and 83. 80% respectively. The total number of qualified passes after all examinations was 5. 89 ± 2. 54 for the video teaching group
4. 44 ± 2. 18 for the teacher training group
and 3. 11 ± 1. 69 for the instrument training group. The difference in the number of qualifications was statistically significant( P < 0. 05). The number of instrument training qualification was significantly less than the video teaching group( P < 0. 05). There was no statistically significant difference between the video teaching group and the teacher teaching group and instrument training group( P > 0. 05). Conclusion The instrument training inheritance model has a higher qualification rate in the treatment of cervical spondylosis using cervical rotation-traction manipulation. Its inheritance effect is better than the video teaching and teacher teaching model.
