Discussion on Relationship between Blood and Spirit
Through an in-depth analysis of the relationship between blood and spirit
it is believed that blood and spirit is not only a unidirectional moistening and nursing relationship by blood to spirt
but also contain a two-way relationship of "blood transforming into spirit"and "spirit accumulating in the blood". Clear blood makes clear spirit
and blood illness causes damage to spirit. In clinical practice
clearing blood and nourishing blood can treat spirit diseases. Calm spirit makes clam blood
while spirit disorder injuries blood. In clinical practice
regulating spirit and calming spirit can treat blood diseases. Clear understanding of the relationship between blood and spirit can help prolong the efficacy of herbs of regulating spirit and nourishing blood
and provide ideas for TCM treatment of spirit diseases and blood diseases.
