Discussion on the Decocting and Administrating Method of Chinese Medicine with “Principles based on Syndromes”
The classic articles in Treatise on Cold Pathogenic Diseases(《伤寒论》)
Synopsis of Golden Chamber(《金匮要略》)
Detailed Analysis of Epidemic Warm Diseases(《温病条辨》)
and experience cases of WU Zhaoxian and XU Dachun were selected
and the methods and principles of the decocting and administrating method were sorted out. The author proposed that the Chinese medicine decoction should follow the "principle based on syndromes". It was believed that the famous physicians of the past selected decocting and administrating methods according to different syndromes and based on the pathogenesis and disease location
which cut the essence of the pathogenesis and thus improves the clinical efficacy.
