Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Huayu Jiedu Decoction（化瘀解毒方） combined with Huayu Sanjie Enema（化瘀散结灌肠液） in the treatment of endometriosis（EM）.Methods A total of75 patients with endometriosis were randomly divided into treatment group of 50 cases and control group of 25 cases.The treatment group was treated with Huayu Jiedu Decoction combined with Huayu Sanjie Enema

and the control group was given gestrinone capsules

2.5 mg each time

twice a week.The clinical efficacy of the 2 groups was evaluated after 3 courses of treatment.The pain scores

endometriosis quality of life scale（EPH-5） score and the safety of drugs and adverse events were observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 84.78% and 86.36%respectively.After treatment

EPH-5 score and serum CA125 levels of two groups were decreased compared before treatment

and the size of cyst was reduced（P<0.05）.There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group（P>0.05）.The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the treatment group（4.35%） was significantly lower than that in the control group（68.18%）.Conclusion Huayu Jiedu Decoction combined with Huayu Sanjie Enema had effective curative effect on EM

and it can significantly reduce the EM-related pain symptoms

ovarian endometriosis cysts and serum CA125 levels

and improve the quality of life of EM patients

with good safety.
