Literature Study on Distribution Rules of Syndromes and Syndrome Elements of Chronic Non-Atrophic Gastritis and Chronic Atrophic Gastritis
Objective To explore the distribution rules and differences of syndromes and syndrome elements of chronic non-atrophic gastritis( CNAG) and chronic atrophic gastritis( CAG). Methods By searching Chinese Biomedical database( CBM)
Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure( CNKI)
Wanfang database and VIP database
the epidemiological investigations on CNAG and CAG syndromes and study on clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) were included. The general information of the literature
case syndrome differentiation were collect to establish a database. The frequency
number of cases and composition ratio of CNAG
CAG syndrome and disease type
disease type syndrome elements were calculated to compare the differences. Results A total of 241 articles were collected
including 64 articles of CNAG and 177 articles of CAG
with a total of 36 315 cases
among which 11 535 were CNAG cases and 24 780 were CAG cases. The frequent syndromes of CNAG were disharmony of the liver and the stomach
qi deficiency of the spleen and the stomach
heat and dampness of the spleen and the stomach
yang deficiency of the spleen and the stomach
yin deficiency of the stomach
bloods stasis obstructing the stomach collaterals. The frequent syndromes of CAG were disharmony of the liver and the stomach
yin deficiency of the stomach
qi deficiency of the spleen and the stomach
heat and dampness of the spleen and the stomach
spleen deficiency and qi stagnation. The number of qi stagnation in the liver and stomach of CNAG was larger than that of CAG
while the number of bloods stasis obstructing the stomach collaterals of the CAG was larger than that of CNAG. The frequent syndrome elements of disease type of CNAG were qi deficiency
heat
qi stagnation
dampness
yang deficiency. The frequent syndrome elements of disease type of CAG were qi deficiency
heat
yin deficiency
dampness
qi stagnation. The number of syndrome elements of qi stagnation and yang deficiency of CNAG was larger than that of CAG
and the blood stasis of CAG was more than that of CNAG( P < 0. 05). The location of CNAG and CAG were mainly in the stomach
spleen
liver and the intestines
in which CNAG was mainly located in the stomach
and CAG was mainly in the spleen( P < 0. 05). Conclusions Disharmony of the liver and the stomach and qi deficiency of the spleen and the stomach are the core syndrome of CNAG and CAG
among which the stomach qi stagnation is significant in CNAG and the spleen qi deficiency is significant in CAG. The stomach yin deficiency and the blood stasis obstructing the stomach collaterals are the main syndrome characteristics differentiating CAG and CNAG.
