This paper introduced XIAO Chengzong’s experience in treating ovarian cysts with Danggui Shaoyao Powder（当归芍药散） . It is believed that ovarian cysts are closely related to liver and spleen. The pathogenesis of the disease is blood and water

and intermingled phlegm and blood stasis. The treatment principles are nourishing blood and softening the liver

strengthening the spleen and promoting diuresis

promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis

and eliminating phlegm and removing hard mass. The combination of disease and syndrome is focused in clinical practice

and should be treated with modified Danggui Shaoyao San with good effects.
