Clinical Observation on Treatment of 31 Cases of Angina Pectoris after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Differentiation
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome differentiation in the treatment of angina pectoris after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods A total of 62 patients with angina pectoris after PCI were randomly divided into a treatment group(31 cases) and a control group(31 cases). The control group was given conventional treatment
and the treatment group was given corresponding TCM syndrome differentiation treatment on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The efficacy of TCM syndrome
angina pectoris and electrocardiogram were compared between the 2 groups. The nitroglycerin use
blood lipids [triglyceride(TG)
high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)
total cholesterol(TC)
low density lipoprotein cholesterin(LDL-C)]
high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and D-dimer(DD) levels were compared before and after treatment. Results In comparison of the efficacy of TCM symptom(87.10% in the treatment group and 58.06% in the control group)
angina pectoris(80.65% in the treatment group and 70.97% in the control group) and electrocardiogram(77.42% in the treatment group and 67.74% in the control group)
the treatment group was all superior to the control group(P<0.05). After treatment
nitroglycerin usage
TC
TG
LDL-C
DD and hs-CRP of the 2 groups were significantly decreased than before(P<0.05)
and the level of above indexes of the treatment group was lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). After treatment
HDL-C of the 2 groups was significantly increased than before(P<0.05)
and the level of HDL-C of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion TCM syndrome differentiation treatment can significantly improve TCM symptoms
relieve angina pectoris
improve blood lipid levels
reduce hs-CRP and DD levels
and reduce the amount of nitroglycerin in patients with angina pectoris after PCI.
