Direction of Innovation and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory from the Perspective of Cultural Attributes
The theoretical innovation of traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) is inseparable from Chinese culture and TCM philosophy. This is also a necessary means to keep the source clear and characteristics distinct of TCM. The reasons are that these are determined by the inherent cultural attributes of TCM. At present
with the further study of the integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine
some studies ignore the cultural attributes of TCM. Some indicators of modern medicine
systems biology
and engineering are mechanically corresponding to certain syndromes of TCM
while the philosophical
speculative
and cultural nature of TCM are ignored
which has led to alienation in the innovative development of TCM. The theoretical innovation of TCM must clarify the cultural origin of TCM
find innovation
methods
and thinking from the cultural attributes. Afterwards
it must integrate modern scientific knowledge to improve its own development. Only in this way can TCM develop in a viable direction.
