Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Wenyang Huayin Recipe（ 温阳化饮方） in the treatment of recurrence of angina pectoris after coronary revascularization in patients with unstable angina pectoris of yang deficiency fluid retention syndrome. Methods A total of 32 patients with unstable angina pectoris of yang deficiency fluid retention syndrome and recurrent angina pectoris after coronary blood flow reconstruction were included. On the basis of maintaining conventional western medicine

modified Wenyang Huayin Recipe（ 温阳化饮方） was given as oral treatment

1 dose per day

for 8 weeks. The average frequency of angina pectoris each week and average duration before and after treatment were observed. Plasma brain natriuretic peptide precursor（ NT-proBNP） level and left ventricular ejection fraction（ LVEF） were measured

and the 6-minute walking distance and traditional Chinese medicine（ TCM） symptom score were recorded. Results Compared with before treatment

the average weekly angina pectoris frequency and average duration were significantly decreased after treatment. The plasma NT-proBNP level and TCM symptom score also decreased（ P < 0. 01）

and the 6-minute walking distance and LVEF significantly increased（ P <0. 01）. Conclusion Wenyang Huayin Recipe（ 温阳化饮方） can significantly reduce the frequency and time of angina pectoris after coronary revascularization in patients with unstable angina pectoris of yang deficiency fluid retention syndrome

and improve cardiac function and mobility.
