Effects of Clinical Efficacy Derivation Method in the Study on Traditional Chinese Medicine Properties
The theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) properties is an important part of the basic theory of TCM
but there is a lack of scientific clinical research methods in the research on the theory. After thousands of years of practice
Chinese physicians in past dynasties have formed a set of derivation methods of TCM properties
based on clinical efficacy and syndrome treatment. However
due to the impact of modern medicine and the limitations of this method
the development of these methods has stagnated. This article introduced the clinical efficacy derivation method and its characteristics in TCM properties of clinical research
summarizing the value of traditional clinical efficacy derivation method in current research on TCM properties
combing the requirements of modern scientific research
and condensing the key points of efficacy derivation method needing to be improved. It is hoped to provide ideas for establishing traditional and modern Chinese medicine clinical research methods.
