Establishment and Theoretical Origin of a “Three-basis Syndrome Differentiation” System
By combing relevant study results on syndrome essential elements and syndrome elements
it is proposed that substantial research should be conducted from the generating process of a syndrome rather than its existing outcome. By analyzing treatment aiming at its root causes
discussion on syndrome aiming at its root causes and the generating origin of syndrome
a system of three-basis syndrome differentiation is proposed and demonstrated in detail
which meets the needs of big data era and is suitable for intelligent diagnosis. It contains three aspects: basic material of syndrome
basic space of syndrome and basic movement of syndrome. Among them
basic material of syndrome is divided into 3 categories: physiological material
tangible pathological material and intangible pathogenic qi; basic space of syndrome is divided into 4 categories: five zang-viscera
six fu-viscera
extraordinary fu-viscera and body tissue; basic movement of syndrome is divided into 5 categories: deficiency
excess
too fast
too slow and reversion. The system of three-basis syndrome differentiation is different from syndrome elements and syndrome essential elements. It has advantages of realization on data sharing and performing normalized three-dimensional decomposition for syndromes through objectively expressing standard and decomposing independent modeling. It can provide reference for study on syndrome standardization and construction of traditional Chinese medicine intelligent auxiliary diagnosis and treatment system.
