Discussion on the Theory of Regulating Qi to Discharge Turbid and Dredging the Yangming in the Acupuncture Treatment of Obesity
In view of the pathological characteristics of obesity patients such as deficiency of qi
unsmoothness of qi and the increase of turbidity
this paper puts forward the theory of "Regulating qi
Discharging Turbid Pathogenic Factor and Dredging the Yangming". The theory of "Regulating qi and Discharging Turbidity" aims to adjust the state of the whole body
and it could reinforce deficiency and reduce excess by regulating the qi and the pathway of qi′s flow
as well as mobilising the intangible stagnated heat and dredging the visible turbid phlegm. Meanwhile
the theory of "Dredging the Yangming" plays an indispensable role in "Regulating qi and Discharging Turbid Pathogenic Factor". Through dredging the Yangming
regulating the balance of absorption and excretion
as well as strengthening the movement of qi and blood
the effects of "Regulating qi and Discharging Turbid Pathogenic Factor" could be further strenghened
