The “Three Causes” Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Formation
Syndrome is one of the core contents of the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). Based on the objective evidence of modern TCM syndrome research and combined with TCM classic theories
the "three causes" theory of syndrome formation is proposed. That is
pathogenic factors
genetic constitution
and disease stage are the main factors that determine syndromes. From the "three causes" identification of syndromes
the preparation of animal models with the three-dimensional disease-syndrome combination
and the basic research of three-dimensional syndrome biology
the application results and prospects were explained.
