Research Status Analysis of Clinical Trial Registration of Helicobacter Pylori Infection
Objective To analyze the status quo of clinical research on Helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection in China based on clinical trial registration data. Methods The clinical studies related to Hp infection registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry was searched from the establishment of the database to July 31
2020
and a summary analysis was conducted. Results A total of 270 studies were retrieved
of which 139 studies met the inclusion criteria
including 87 interventional studies
21 observational studies
7 basic researches
9 diagnostic tests
11 etiology/related factor studies
3 epidemiological studies and 1 preventive study. Conclusion In recent years
the clinical registration research of Hp infection in China has shown a significant increasing trend. The focus of intervention research has gradually shifted to modified quadruple therapy
optimized dual therapy
probiotic therapy
and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment
which to some extent reflects new trends of Hp infection in clinical research. In the future
it is necessary to further optimize the treatment plan of TCM
do a good job in the top-level design of clinical research
and obtain high-quality evidence-based medical evidence through standardized research
which will help playing the important role of TCM in the treatment of Hp infection.
