Discussion on the Recurrence of Children′s Functional Constipation Based on the Theory of Spleen Yin
Children′s functional constipation is a common digestive disease in pediatrics
and its recurrence is one of the difficulties in clinical treatment. It is believed that the occurrence of functional constipation is related to the dysfunction of the five internal organs
but the spleen is particularly important. The spleen is located in the center
and when the spleen yin is insufficiency
the dysfunction of its ascending and descending and moisturizing become the key to the pathogenesis of recurrent functional constipation. We should pay attention to nourishing spleen yin to fundamentally alleviate the dysfunction of the spleen moisturizing the body′s viscera and spleen governing transportation. The treatment should be mainly based on drugs of sweetness
sweetness and sourness
and sweetness and coldness
with the principle of nourishing spleen-yin and tonifying spleen qi.
