Traditional Chinese Medicine Interventions for Asymptomatic COVID-19
The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) epidemic has been effectively controlled in China
and future work on epidemic prevention and management should pay close attention to the issue of asymptomatic infection. This paper discussed the transmissibility of asymptomatic infections
as well as the detection method
population proportions
and identification "symptoms"
and summarized its three characteristics including infectivity
concealment
and high-risk. Five key points were addressed
which were "infectivity"
"detection power"
"virus"
"susceptible population" and "prevention and control measures". The intervention strategies of traditional Chinese medicine for asymptomatic infections and susceptible populations were described in details
and the clinical application of Jiexie Yidu Formula(截邪抑毒方)
Fangyi Bihui Formula(防疫辟秽方) and antibacterial and anti-epidemic spray were introduced.
