Abstract
This paper summarized professor GUO Zhiqiang′s experience in treating chronic pelvic pain after pelvic inflammatory disease by taking "unblocking" as the principle. It is believed that this disease is mainly ascribed to excess syndrome; the main pathogenesis is the process that qi stagnation
cold-damp and stasis constraint in the uterus with appendages may lead to the block and obstruction of the uterus meridians
thus bringing about pain. In clinical practice
it is advocated to take "unblocking" as the principle and treat the root and branch simultaneously; the basic treatment method is to promote qi and regulate the liver
warm the channel and unblock the collaterals
invigorate blood and dissolve stasis. Oral herbal medicine combined with self-made Huayu Ningkun Enema(化瘀宁坤灌肠液) is recommended to treat both the internal and external and promote the movement of qi and blood. When there is no blocking
