Professor LI Diangui′s Experience in Treating Sjogren′s Syndrome from the Spleen and Stomach by Removing Turbidity and Resolving Toxins
This paper summarized professor LI Diangui′s experience in treating Sjogren′s syndrome from the spleen and stomach using the method of removing turbidity and resolving toxins. The pathogenesis of Sjogren′s syndrome is that pathogenic turbid toxin is congested and obstructed in stomach cavity
affecting the function and spleen and stomach and thereby causing damage to qi
blood
fluid and other substances. Qi stagnation
blood stasis
and liquid depletion are the branch; turbid toxin is the root; and there is deficiency-excess complex. The treatment should be based on the root cause to eliminate the disease from the origin; therefore
the method of removing turbidity and resolving toxins is considered as the basic treatment principle
