Dynamic Differentiation of Tumor Pathogenesis from the view of Yin-yang
Pathogenesis differentiation and identification is important in understanding of illness. Pathogenic toxin plays a crucial role in the whole process of tumor development, and currently it is mainly differentiated from deficiency-excess aspects. As deficiency-excess pattern differentiation of tumors is complex and not unified, this paper preliminarily explored the possibility and inevitability of

pattern differentiation of pathogenic toxin in tumors by taking cold-heat differentiation as an entry point. The

yang
pattern differentiation theory is put forward that the root and the form of pathogenic toxin in tumors are closely related to

imbalance in the body and in the environment, which is complementary to the deficiency-excess pattern differentiation theory. Taken as an example, colorectal cancer is differentiated as

tumor, and the general treatment principle is warming and unblocking. The development of

pattern differentiation for tumor pathogenesis is to re-understand the tumors from original thinking aspects in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and is an attempt to simplify and promote the standardization of tumor pathogenesis theory in TCM.
