Analysis on Feasibility and Path of Building a Knowledge-Data Dual-driven Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment System
By summarizing the technical characteristics of artificial intelligence (AI) such as knowledge-driven and knowledge engineering, data-driven and big data, it is found that both knowledge-driven and data-driven traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnosis and treatment system has its strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, it is put forward to build a TCM diagnosis and treatment system driven by both knowledge and data to promote the suitability in TCM clinical practice. The feasibility of the dual driven system was analyzed from the perspectives of the disciplinary attributes of TCM, logical deduction-based TCM theory, and generalization and summarization-based practical experience. Moreover, the pathway of this dual driven system could be built through TCM knowledge graph, big data of TCM cases, and fusion of knowledge graph and big data, so as to provide ideas for the development of TCM diagnosis and treatment system.
