Pathogenesis and Treatment Ideas of Coronary Heart Disease Complicated with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome Based on “Sinking of Pectoral Qi” Theory
Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is an independent risk factor for coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD). Based on the theory of “sinking of pectoral
qi
”, this paper put forward that the pathogenesis of CHD complicated with OSAHS is related to the “phlegm stasis in the heart and lung, and sinking of pectoral
qi
”, indicating that pectoral
qi
insufficiency and heart-lung depletion are the pathogenic basis, while congea-ling pectoral
qi
and constraint phlegm stasis are the core pathogenesis; toxin damaging the the heart-lung and pectoral
qi
sinking reflect the progression of the disease, and deficient pectoral
qi
dissipating and
zang
-
fu
(脏腑) organs decay are the results of the disease, with pectoral
qi
depletion running through the whole disease process. It is recommended to take the basic treatment method of boosting
qi
to raise
yang
. Simultaneously, it is advised to regulate and nourish the heart and lungs, boost
qi
and supplement deficiency in the early stage of the disease, to dissolve phlegm, dispel stasis and rectify
qi
, raise
yang
and relieve bi (痹) in the middle stage, and to raise
yang
and lift the sunken, resolve toxins and prevent changes in the late stage.
