Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of the Psycho-cardiological Disease based on the Thought of “Syndrome Dominating Disease”
Psycho-cardiological disease is a compounded disorder to “the heart of the spirit” and “the heart of the body”, and is characterized by diverse minifestations and complicated disease diagnosis. The treatment strategy of “syndrome dominating disease” emphasizes the core of syndrome differentiation in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and gives prescriptions with modifications based on the syndrome differentiation and the features of the disease. In treatment of psycho-cardiological diseases, it has advantages, such as such as breaking through the challenges and limitation of duplicate diagnosis and difficult to grasp the main problem, and giving priority to treatment based on the TCM holism and syndrome differentiation. Syndrome first and disease thereafter, syndrome dominating disease, and combination of disease and syndrome provide a new way for the diagnosis and treatments of psycho-cardiological disease.
