Clinical Application of Blood-turbidity Theory in the Treatment of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease
The theory of blood-turbidity is critical to the syndrome differentiation and treatment of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). By expounding the basic concept, nature, pathogenic characteristics of blood-turbidity and its relationship with various pathological factors, this paper put forward the understanding of the occurrence of ‘turbid blood damaging marrow’ of CSVD under the guidance of blood-turbidity theory. The core pathogenesis of CSVD is turbid blood damaging marrow. For the occurrence of CSVD, the premise is kidney essence insufficiency and marrow sea depletion, while the key reason is the accumulation of blood-turbidity and the injury of brain marrow. Therefore, in the treatment, it is advocated to start with blood turbidity. It is suggested to treat CSVD from blood-turbidity, and with the core treatment method of clearing and removing blood turbidity and supplementing essence and boosting marrow,
