Research on Six-channel Pattern Differentiation in Patients with Chronic Diffuse Telogen Hair Loss based on Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis
To explore the law of six-channel pattern differentiation in chronic diffuse telogen hair loss (CDTHL).
Methods
2
Patients diagnosed with CDTHL at the dermatology department of China-Japan Friendship Hospital from 2018 August to 2022 August were included. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom scale was developed to collect general information and the four examinations information. The distribution of the four examinations information of TCM was counted, and the factor analysis was conducted to reduce the dimensionality. The initial common factor score of the characteristic root > 1 was used as a variable for cluster analysis, and the common six-channel syndrome of CDTHL was summarized.
Results

A total of 182 CDTHL patients were included, and the top ten frequent four examinations information were oily scalp (159, 87.36%), anxiety (135, 74.18%), scalp pruritus (132, 72.53%), dreaminess (128, 70.33%), dandruff (124, 68.13%), upset (118, 64.84%). %), tiredness (117, 64.29%), irritability (116, 63.74%), nervousness (102, 56.04%), and fatigue (98, 53.85%). Fourteen common factors with characteristic roots > 1 were obtained from the patient's four examinations information of TCM, and were clustered into 3 categories based on
