Discussion on Moxibustion in the Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis based on the Theory“All Painful and Itching Sores are Ascribed to the Heart”
According to the theory that “all painful and itching sores are ascribed to the heart”, it is believed that mental disorder is the key pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis. When moxibustion is used clinically to treat atopic dermatitis, the main treatment method is to tranquilize the heart and calm the mind, and acupoints such as Baihui (GV 20), Neiguan (PC 6) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) are commonly used to regulate the mind. Additionally, Hegu (LI 4), Quchi (LI 11) and Xuehai (SP 10) are used to coordinate the overall
