Clinical Application Guideline for the Treatment of Influenza in Children with Chinese Patent Medicines (2024)增强出版
Children are a high-risk group for influenza. Chinese patent medicines have shown significant advantages in treating pediatric influenza. To guide clinicians in the rational use of Chinese patent medicines, this guideline is developed under the overarching principle of "evidence-based and clinically focused", and a dual-lead approach, involving both clinical and methodological experts, was employed to create the guideline that is both scientifically sound and clinically applicable. The guideline constructs clinical questions based on the principles of specific patent medicine, specific disease stage and specific outcome, systematically retrieves, selects, and integrates relevant clinical evidence, and grades the evidence using the GRADE method. Taking into account factors such as patient preferences and drug cost-effectiveness, consensus meetings formed the final recommendations, which include 13 Chinese patent medicines.
