Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes Diagnostic Criteria for Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Risk-Window (2025)增强出版
The acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease risk-window (AECOPDRW) refers to a critical phase where patients are highly prone to recurrent acute exacerbations after their condition stabilizes. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has advantages in alleviating symptoms and controlling the progression of the disease. At present, there is a lack of unified and standardized TCM syndrome diagnostic criteria for syndrome differentiation of AECOPDRW, which restricts the exertion of TCM's therapeutic advantages. Following the guidelines for developing syndrome diagnostic criteria formulated in the early stage and integrating the opinions of a multidisciplinary expert group, this study clarified the distribution characteristics of common syndromes, their primary symptoms, and secondary symptoms of AECOPDRW, and further developed the corresponding syndrome diagnostic criteria. The verification results indicated that this criteria has good diagnostic performance, providing a basis for TCM clinical diagnosis, treatment, and related research of AECOPDRW.
