Comparative observation was made between 46 such cases received simple operation and that withadditional treatment of Chinese materia medica. Results revealed that

after treatment

the morphology of sperm in both groups were all improved

but the percentage of those in the Chinese materia medica group was higher than the simple operation group （P<0. 01）. The rate of spear -head sperm and sperm with uncertain shape was much lower than those of the simple operative group （P< 0.01）.
