Objective:To observe effect of rectoclysis of Binghuang Wuling Liquid on endothelin(ET) level in the patient of acute cerebral hemorrhage and probe the mechanism.Methods:138 cases conformed to diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=76) and a control group(n=62) with single blind
and a normal group of 30 cases was set up.ET levels were observed before treatment and after treatment of 3
7
14 days. Results:The ET level at peak time in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in ET level in the treatment group after treatment of 7 days compared with the normal group and the control group(P>0.05)
while ET level in the treatment group after treatment of 14 days significantly lower than that in the normal group and the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The mechanism of rectoclysis of Binghuang Wuling Liquid is possibly related with decreasing ET levels at the peak time and the whole duration of illness
and shortening the time of decreasing ET to the level lower than the normal.
