Objective:To observe the curative effect of Ziping Pills in treatment of mild to moderate hypertension patients. Methods:120 cases of enrolled patients were randomly divided into control group（Nitriendipine）and treatment group（Ziping Pills）.Blood pressure

blood lipid and main symptoms in both groups were observed before and after treatment. Results:SBP and DBP notably descended after treatment in both groups（P<0.01）

and the therapeutic effect of control group was superior to that of treatment group（P<0.01）.Control group was superior to treatment group in improving symptoms

reducing blood lipid and side effects （P<0.05）.Conclusion: Ziping Pills was a safe and efficient drug in treatment of mild to moderate hypertension patients.
