Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Renzhu Jianwei Granule （RZJWG） in treating chronic atrophic gastritis（CAG） precancerous lesion.Methods:One hundred and ninety cases of CAG precancerous lesion were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group （n=128） were treated with oral administration of RSJWG and the control group（n=62） with oral administration of Weifuchun Tablet（WFCT）

for 6 months.The clinical effect

and scores for p53 and Bcl-2 expression were observed before and after treatment in both groups.Results:The total effective rate was 91.4% and the effective rate for gastroscope was 70.3%;The effective rate for gastric mucosa atrophy

intestinal metaplasia

dysplasia was 64.1%

respectively

and the pathological scores were significantly lowered after treatment in the treatment group.Immunohistochemical analysis showed that RZJWG could significantly inhibit the expression of p53 and Bcl-2 with significant differences（P<0.05）.Conclusion:RZJWG can significantly improve the clinical symptoms

gastroscopic and pathological changes in CAG precancerous lesion.The mechanism is possibly related with inhibition of activization of oncogene and inactivization of suppressor gene to promote apoptosis of precancerous cells.
