Objective To study the relationship among polymorphism of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) gene
angiotensinⅡ (AgⅡ) and coronary heart disease (CHD) with blood stasis syndrome. Methods Genotype (DD
ID
II)
allele (D
I) of ACE and activity of AgⅡ were detected in group of CHD with heart blood stasis syndrome
group of CHD without heart blood stasis syndrome
group of heart blood stasis syndrome without CHD and healthy control group. Results The frequency of DD type and D allele in group of CHD with heart blood stasis syndrome was higher than those in other three groups.AgⅡ activity of DD type was higher than that of II type in four groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01).AgⅡ activity of DD type was higher than that of ID type in group of CHD with heart blood stasis syndrome [WTBX](P<0.05).AgⅡ activity of three gene types in two groups of heart blood stasis syndrome was higher than that in healthy control group (P<0.01).Conclusion It is suggested that increasing frequency of ACE-DD type and ACE-D allele may be relevant to CHD with heart blood stasis syndrome
which may be related to abnormal increase of AgⅡ due to Dallele.
