Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Danlong Dingchuan Pill for paracmastic asthma in children. Methods Totally 122 cases of paracmastic asthma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Danlong Dingchuan Pill was used in treatment group

immunoglobulin E and pulmonary function were observed before and after treatment. Results The total effective rates of treatment and control groups were 92.06% and 93.22% respectively.There was no significant difference between both groups（P>0.05）.After treatment

EOS counts decreased significantly in both groups（P<0.01）

especially in treatment group（P<0.05）; forced expiratory volume in one second and peak expiratory flow improved obviously in both groups（P<0.01）

without significant differences in group comparison（P>0.05）. Conclusion Danlong Dingchuan Pill can reduce the concentration of EOS and airway resistance for paracmastic asthma in children.
