Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Najia method of midday-midnight point selection for acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease(AICD) and its effect on hemorheology
interleukin-6 (IL-6)
thromboxane B2 (TXB2) and 6-keto-prostaglandin1α (6-keto-PGF1α).Methods Totally 90 AICD patients were randomly and equally divided into three groups. Conventional therapy was used in medicine group
point selection by affected-channel was added in affected-channel group and midday-midnight point selection was added in Najia group. Results The total effective rate of Najia group was 96.67%
which was superior to 73.33% of medicine group (P<0.01). The total effective rate of affected-channel group was 90%. The recovery and marked improvement rates of Najia group were superior to those of medicine and affected-channel groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The improvements of whole blood viscosity and rate of red blood cell deformation in Najia group were superior to those in other two groups (P<0.05). IL-6
TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1α improved significantly in three groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01). 6-keto-PGF1α and IL-6 in Najia group improved significantly at the early stage of treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion Najia method of midday-midnight point selection is effective for AICD and can improve hemorheology
decrease the level of IL-6
recover dynamic equilibrium of TXB2 and 6-keto-PGF1α and promote the recovery of cranial nerves.
