Objective To study the regularity of pattern factor about location of five visceral disease of acne vulgaris (AV) during adolescence and relation between facial lesion and pattern factor of five viscera. Methods The characteristic of pattern factor integral about disease location and facial lesion of 730 AV patients during adolescence was studied by epidemiologic survey and pattern factor identification. Results The main facial lesion was bilaterally distributed (P<0.01). The relation between lesion distribution with five viscera was: main lesions belonged to liver and lung were bilaterally
and superior
central and inferior parts were mainly belonged to heart
spleen and kidney respectively (P<0.01). Among the pattern factors of five viscera in all and female patients
liver occupied first place; kidney came second (P<0.01);When it came to male patients
kidney occupied first place (P<0.01).Conclusion There is correlation between five viscera identification and facial lesion distribution. The disease location of puberal acne is closely related to liver and kidney.
