Objective To observe the effect of Shengmai Powder on ventricular remodeling and quality of life of chronic heart failure patients.Methods The 120 patients with chronic heart failure were randomly divided into two groups

60 cases in each group.The control group was treated by routine therapy

while the treatment group was added by Shengmai Powder

and the indices of ventricular remodeling and quality of life in the treatment group were better than those in the control group with a significant difference（P<0.05 or P<0.01）.Conclusion In the treatment of chronic heart failure

Shengmai Powder is obviously effective in ventricular remodeling

and can improve the quality of life of the patients.
