Objective To investigate the characteristics of clinical manifestations and treatment of influenza A(H1N1).Methods The dynamic observation was carried out on the characteristics of clinical manifestations of 11 confirmed cases treated with the TCM treatment and Duffy anti-virus treatment. Results Of the 11 cases
there were 7 males
4 females;2 cases had the infection in lungs;the fever lasted 1~4 days averagely;the asthenia and muscular soreness were not serious;and they didn’t have the accompanying symptoms of digestive tract. The symptoms of middle-aged and old patients were not as severe as those of young patients.According to TCM
the pathological condition of patients was mostly differentiated as the syndromes of virus attacking the lung defense or upward disturbance of wind heat. The Chinese medicine treatment could bring down fever rapidly and improve the symptoms such as cough
sore throat
headache and so on.Conclusion The toxicity of influenza A(H1N1) is weak
thus the poisoning symptoms of whole body were not as server as those of seasonal influenza.Virus attacking the lung defense and upward disturbance of wind heat are common patterns of TCM.Treatment with herbal prescriptions mainly modified from Sangju Yin(Decoction of Mulberry Leaf and Chrysanthemum)
Maxing Shigan Decoction(Decoction of Ephedra
Apricot Kernel
Gypsum and Licorice) and Chaige Jieji Decoction(Decoction of Bupleurum-Pueraria for muscle releasing) could achieve certain curative effect.
