Objective To study the related factors of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction（Decoction for removing blood stasis in chest）on angiogenesis.Methods Totally 24 SD rats were equally divided into Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction high

erythropoietin（EPO）

stromal-cell derived factor-1（SDF-1）

granulocytecolony stimulating factor（G-CSF）

granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulation factor（GM-CSF）

and netric oxide（NO）were determined to observe the effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on mobilization of endothelial progenitor cells（EPC）.Results Compared to the control group

high dosage of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction could elevate serum level of VEGF;middle dosage of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction raised serum level of SDF-1 and GM-CSF;three dosage of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction raised serum level of NO respectively（P<0.05 or P<0.01）.High and middle dosage of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction lowered serum level of G-CSF significantly（P<0.05）.Conclusion Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction could mobilize EPC to promote angiogenesis by elevating VEGF、SDF-1、GM-CSF and NO level.The mechanism of EPC mobilization was complicated and deversified.
