Objective To study the relations between the changes of inflammatory factors of acute apoplexy and TCM syndromes. Methods Totally 329 acute apoplexy patients and 147 non-apoplexy patients were selected to compare the changes of their inflammatory factors
routine blood test
blood coagulation
C-reactive protein(CPR)
uric acid(UA)
blood glucose
blood fat
and neurological deficit score(NDS).Meanwhile
the acute apoplexy patients were diagnosed with TCM syndrome differentiation to analyze the changes of inflammatory factors of the different syndromes. Results Of the acute apoplexy patients
the white blood cells
red blood cells
the neutrophilic granulocytes
blood platelets
fibrinogen
CPR
UA
total cholesterol
and NDS were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Some of the inflammatory factors of those patients with Zangfu being affected were significantly higher than those of the patients with channels and collaterals being affected(P<0.05 or P<0.01)
and the changes of inflammatory factors of different TCM syndromes were also different. The acute apoplexy patients with cerebral hemorrhage or pathological change in cerebellum were more likely to have Zangfu being affected. Conclusion Various inflammatory factors of the acute apoplexy patients are significantly higher than those of non-apoplexy patients
and there is a close relation between the TCM syndromes and the character
location
and the changes of various inflammatory factors of apoplexy.
