Objective To study the effect of scalp acupuncture plus rehabilitation training on the speaking function of anandia cases of stroke. Methods Seventy-nine anandia cases of stroke were treated with routine treatment
based on which the scalp acupuncture in combination with speaking rehabilitation training was applied. Evaluating the speaking function of the patients before treatment
1
2
3 months after treatment was carried out respectively through Chinese aphasia examination method
aphasia quotient
examination method of functional speaking communication ability
and grading standard of severity of aphasia. Results The total effective rate after 3-month treatment was 83.82%; the score of speaking function
aphasia quotient
score of functional speaking communication ability
and grading of severity of aphasia were statistically different from those before treatment (P<0.01)
and the effect was better than 1 month and 2 month after treatment (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion Acupunture and rehabilitation therapy is effective in improving the speaking function of anandia patients of stroke
reinforcing their speaking communication ability and aphasia quotient
and reducing their aphasia severity. Its effect is stable and accumulative.
