The Constitution Distribution of Angina Pectoris Patients in Lingnan Area[J]. Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012, 53(15): 1305-1307.DOI: 10.13288/j.11-2166/r.2012.15.007.
Objective To research the constitution distribution of patients with angina pectoris and its correlation with highsensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)
low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and total cholesterol(TC).Methods Eighty nine angina pectoris patients and 10healthy volunteers lived in Lingnan area Guangdong Province were observed based on their constitution in Chinese medicine. The levels of hs-CRP
LDL-C and TC were detected and contrasted. Results The most common constitution types of angina pectoris patients are constitution of blood stasis(34.83%)
phlegm-damp(22.47%) and damp-heat(20.23%).Comparing the control group
there were significant differences between patients and healthy volunteers with different constitution in hs-CRP level
LDL-C and TC(P<0.01).The levels of hs-CRP
LDL-C and TC were significantly increased in the patients with constitution of damp-heat
phlegm-damp and blood stasis(P<0.05).Conclusion People with constitution of damp-heat
phlegm-damp and blood stasis in Lingnan area are more likely to suffer from angina pectoris. The elevation of hs-CRP
LDL-C and TC is closely related to angina pectoris patients with constitution of damp-heat
