Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Jiang z hi Tongluo Gelatin Capsule（capsule to lower the lipid and free the network vessels） for nonalcoho lic fatty liver disease（NAFLD）.Methods Totally 120 ca ses of NAFLD were randomi zed into treatment group and control group

with 60 in each.The control gro up was given simvastatin tablets

10mg per time

once every evening

and tiopron in enteric-coated tablets

200mg per time

three times daily on the basis of co nventional treatment.The treatment group was given Jiangzhi Tongluo Gelatin Cap s ule

2 capsules per time

three times daily on the basis of conventional treatme nt.Both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The symptoms

liver function and computed tomography（CT） imaging were observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the tr eatment group and control group was 91.67% and 85.00% respectively

with no sig nificant difference between groups（P>0.05）.The excellent rate of the treatmen t gro up and control group was 51.67% and 33.33% respectively

with significant diff erence between groups（P<0.05）.BMI

WC and BP improved significantly in bo th gr oups after treatment（P<0.05）

especially BMI and WC in the treatment group（P<0.05）.Alanine transaminase（ALT）

total cholesterol（TC）

triglyceride（TG）

low density lipoprotein cholesterol（LDL-C）

high density lipoprotein cholesterol（HDL-C） and liver/spleen CT ratio decreased significantly in both groups after tr eatment（P<0.01）

especially TC

HDL-C

LDL-C and liver/spleen CT ra tio in t he treatment group（P<0.05 or P<0.01）.Conclusion Jiangzhi Tongluo Gelatin Capsu le is a multi-target onset drug for NAFLD and it could effectively regulate blo od lipid

protect the liver and improve the metabolic.
