Objective To observe the therapeutic effect and possible mechanisms of Zuogui Pill [ left-restoring （ kidney yin ） pill ] combined with five animal exercises for psychogenic erectile dysfunction （ ED ） .Methods Seventy six cases of psychogen- ic ED were randomized into the control group （ 36cases ） and experimental group （ 40cases ） .The control group was given Zuogui Pill orally

especially in the experimental group （ P<0.05 ） .There were significant differences between groups in the IIEF-5scores of moderate and severe patients and SEAR scores of severe patients after treatment （ P<0.05 ） .The bilateral scrotum-testicular temperature significantly decreased in the experimental group after treatment （ P<0.05or P<0.01 ）

with a significant difference between groups in the left scrotum-testicular temperature （ P< 0.05 ） .Conclusion The combo therapy of Zuogui Pill and five animal exercises is effective for psychogenic ED

which maybe relevant to regulating the hormone level and improving the microcirculation of corpus cavernosum.
